Ciarán Carson and the ISIC

One of WFUP's most renowned poets, Ciarán Carson, will be reading at the newly founded Institute for the Study of Irish Culture (ISIC) at Boston University on Monday April 8th, from 6 – 7:30 PM. Carson is the author of a number of collections of poetry, including On the Night Watch and Until Before After; both books are available through WFUP. Boston University's creation of the ISIC reflects "the university's dedication to the advancement of scholarship in interdisciplinary fields and acts as a place of welcome for students, scholars and researchers in the diverse fields within Irish Studies, including history, politics, religion, literature, music and the arts."
